Corporate Mindfulness Program

About the Program

As professionals, we are motivated, encouraged, and expected to excel at our jobs. However, accelerating workplaces, industries, and modern digitalization of the business world presents unique challenges to the human mind and body. All which tend to lead to stress and anxiety as well as reduced concentration and mental clarity. Therefore, we should put a premium on responsiveness, clarity of thought, and quality of work in order to obtain the best possible results for our business partners in highly complex and competitive industries. 


"Research has found that mindfulness training alters our brains and how we engage with ourselves, others, and our work. When practiced and applied, mindfulness fundamentally alters the operating system of the mind." (HBR Jan 2017). Mindfulness practice decreases activity in the parts of the brain responsible for quick impulsive reactions while increasing activity in the part of the brain responsible for logical thought and control. A diligent approach to mindfulness can help people create a one-second mental space between an event or stimulus and the response. In that one second lies the opportunity to improve the way we decide and direct, the way we engage and lead. Altogether, firmly placing us in the driver's seat of our minds and by extension the lives we live.


Our program is about building meaningful and lasting mindfulness results in the workplace. The program consists of 8 Initial sessions, each about 45 minutes, where staff gathers for 10 minutes of discussion about the 'how/when/where/why' of meditation, followed by 25 minutes of meditation. We close with a short talk on heart practices and self-care.  Below is an outline of the week-by-week mindfulness practices of the program.
